That’s why there continued to be orders for the vital Valiant son Fisher-Place Mandingo. So it came to be that Mandingo, born in 1979, became the world’s first Holstein millionaire. He was the first bull from whom more than one million doses of semen were produced and sold. That is now a few decades ago and in the meantime, Mandingo has been joined by several dozen Holstein millionaires.
