Castelverde Defender Gorgeous 2 was selected by judge Callum McKinven and his assistant Graham Kirby as Grand Champion of the Cremona International Holstein Show. Reserve Grand went to Castelverde Goldwyn Banana, while the Intermediate Champion Toc-Farm Doorman Dior was Honorable Mention.

In a sign of the future at the Canadian National Red-Holstein Show, the Junior Champion, Kozak Warrior Bombshell-Red, and the Reserve Junior Champion, Fortale Mirand Loana-Red, were both polled heifers. Bombshell inherited the polled gene from her Colt-P dam, while Loana (tracing to Rockymountain Licorice) is sired by Mirand-PP.
