De Oosterhof (OH): The Successful Dutch Breeder’s Herd Behind Topstone, Rubels-Red and Ranger-Red
The current Nr.1 progeny proven sire of Germany (Topstone) and the former Nr.1 Red Holstein sires in the world (Rubels-Red, Ranger-Red) have various similarities. All three have the combination of Rubicon-Aikman in their pedigree and they have all come about partly thanks to the work of the Dutch breeding enterprise De Oosterhof. It is highly likely that these breeding successes will not be the last; this past year no less than 24 young sires from the passionate breeder Willem Scholten left for various AIs!
