It was an historic milestone, when during the recent World Dairy Expo the “Premier Sire” titles were captured by two bulls from one breeding enterprise: Farnear Holsteins in the American state of Iowa, with Farnear Delta-Lambda and Farnear Altitude-Red. But: don’t think that Farnear Holsteins is entirely focused on conformation. Absolutely not! Because likely even more influential than the mentioned Lambda and Altitude is a bull whose name you will perhaps not even recognize: Farnear Sabre. He is the “secret” maternal grandsire of none other than Genosouce Captain. Yes, the global Farnear influence continues to grow, and thus HI once again visited the now ultra-modern dairy enterprise.
