Once again, the breeding evaluations in April revealed bulls with special traits like polled or red factor as sources of interesting newcomers. While polled and particularly RC sires at the top level are not rare, they remain special exceptions within the conventional elite of the breed. Here are four RC debutants from the April evaluations that could give momentum to the black as well as the red portions of the Holstein population.
