Big Holsteins: Popular Sires from Prominent Production Herd

Exactly 10 years ago, HI published a farm report about Big Holsteins. At the time, the herd owned by the Knoef family had provided thirty 100,000 kg cows. One decade later, Big Holsteins remains, unabated, the leading Dutch lifetime-production herd. This year, for example, the Cash daughter Big Boukje 192 EX-90 set the national record with 208,163 kg 4.64% 3.86%. Breeding is just as important: since 2007, Big Holsteins has provided three popular sires.
