Afra: Luxemburg’s Source for High Lifetime Production
For decades, Luxemburg’s breeders have been known to like investing in good genetics from around the world to infuse new bloodlines into their herds. Pascal Vaessen has also made several purposeful purchases over the last few years which need to show their mettle in a new barn, particularly when standing alongside the Afra family. The Afras are particularly known for longevity and excellent cows and, over the last 30 years, have developed to be perhaps Luxemburg’s most popular cow family.
