Admittedly, we could write this article more critically, as the summit of polled breeding, which is by now much more than just a niche, is dominated by so few bull mothers. One would wish for more variance among the most influential donors, but on the other hand one could and has to see it above all as a positive. The quality of the polled sires worldwide is developing with such a brisk tempo precisely because of these outstanding bull mothers. The reality is that the work horses of polled breeding are real superstars, and we are presenting them here.
