It was the 27th of June, 2019, when the 4-year-old Barbwire daughter Golden-Rose Barbritzi B-Red was the first Holstein, and obviously the first Red-Holstein, to complete 20 consecutive generations of EX cows. That is a record for the ages, naturally! However, it seems only a matter of time for it to be extended. For generations, the line of the Royal Rosa’s, which goes back to Audrey Posch, was the only family in the breed that regularly set new records thanks to its unbelievable breeding abilities. The 21st consecutive EX generation will follow, and it will again be one of the Rosa line. Of note is that ever-more breeders are playing a part of the game. The Rosa’s have developed into a bona fide international family.
