Holtbyholme - Every Cow that has Calved at Least Three Times is Classified EX
There are many type enthusiasts around the world who have developed elite type herds… but Holtbyholme has taken it to a whole new level. As published in HI’s recent August issue, this Canadian dairy farm has the world’s highest percentage of excellent cows in the herd: 70%! Every cow that is eligible – which in Canada means they have calved at least three times – is scored EX. And all younger cows are classified VG. One more detail: Holtbyholme is a completely homebred herd!
