Comestar Laurie Sheik: Foundation of a Long Enduring Empire
In 1995 when the Canadian Cow of the Year award was established, they found exactly the right cow to set the standard, the inaugural winner being the legendary Comestar Laurie Sheik. Last year when the 2022 Cow of the Year winner was announced, the title went to family member Comestar Lamadona Doorman EX-94. In 2021, Laurie Sheik placed second in Holstein International’s Cow Family Tournament: The legacy of Laurie Sheik lives on.
