At first it was his many good daughters, that fresh in milk, gave high expectations. Then in April followed his debut on daughter-proven basis and with little surprise Secretariat emerged as Italy’s Nr.1 for conformation and as a true allrounder in all other important breeding characteristics. But his more that 600 milking daughters seem to be more than simply pretty and functional. With an increase of over 200kg milk they are proving to have potential for further development. That is why Secretariat, after a strong debut, still counts as one of the most outstanding sires on Italy’s top-list after the August evaluations. There are many reasons for this sire profile!
