Marathon: France’s Nr.6 is the Outcross Sire of the Year 2017

He is still young, only born at the end of June 2016. Furthermore, he is the Nr.6 of all French sires on the overall gISU index and the Nr.2 among the top 50 for conformation. But above all, he is an exception on the international top-lists because of his sire stack with Anamur, Mack Coyne and Zelgadis. Broadly speaking, his influence will not be insignifigant: Not as a sire of sons, as he already is, and not as a desired sire when he becomes available as of December. High breeding potential, influence, and an alternative pedigree: As such, Marathon has all the qualifications required to be the Outcross Sire of the Year 2017. And that he is, as the first French bull to receive this distinction.
